Andrea Thompson
Senior Law Clerk

Andrea Thompson first joined Prokosch Law as an undergraduate legal intern in 2021, and has since graduated to the titles of legal assistant, paralegal, law clerk, and now senior law clerk. Andrea assists Prokosch Law’s clients and attorneys in various immigration matters, including family-based immigration, humanitarian immigration, removal defense, and federal litigation matters.

Andrea is a third-year law student at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She will graduate law school with her J.D. in Spring 2026 and hopes to practice immigration law as a licensed attorney by Fall 2026. Before law school, Andrea graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in Spring 2023. She holds a B.A. in political science, African/African American studies, and social justice organizing.

With her passions for American politics, civil rights and social justice, and the complex world of immigration law, Andrea hopes to make a positive impact on the immigrant community through her work for years to come.

Andrea grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and currently resides with her partner in Downtown Minneapolis. When not working or studying, Andrea loves watching Minnesota sports (Go Wolves!), reading anything that isn’t a law textbook, and attending concerts.
